Soulash v0.6.0.1 hotfix


Greetings fellow gods,

Today's patch brings a bunch of fixes to the game and one UX addition - information about weapon scaling on abilities. If you happen to have an issue that was not yet addressed, the best way to report it is through our Discord channel.

Added

- Added information in the ability tooltip informing about weapon damage scaling.
- Added possibility to override a single entry of dialogue in mods.

Changed

- Endurance from passive race bonus adds extra health per level.
- Skinning bear and wolf gives fur now.

Fixed

- Fixed crash related to AI attempting to attack invalid entity.
- Chain abilities no longer attempt to jump to targets on a different z-level.
- Fixed (this time for real) entities moving too fast after the player stops sleeping.
- Player may once again shoot and use line abilities through invisible tiles.
- Properly shows ability cooldown when it's below 0.1 turns.
- World event next event check timer resets correctly when starting a new game.
- Character creation screen Nomad selection properly shows Chain slash as the starting ability.
- Backstabbing self now displays an appropriate message.
- Sight after casting rollback is correctly refreshed.
- Equipped items under split stack popup don't get selected while changing stack sizes.
- Fixed world effect on Sukuna death.

We've also conducted another vote for player-designed content a few days ago through our Patreon. It was a tough choice between Abomination and Cyclops playable races. The design proposed by OccultOnion won this time around. This month's update 0.6.1 will bring the Abomination race, described below:

Playable Race
Name: Abomination
Description: A creature never seen before and hopefully the last time a living soul ever will. A horrendous composition of tendons, guts, and muscle, possibly summoned by a wicked witch or risen by pure hatred, it's hard to tell. It is growing more rotten and putrid each passing day, Urges from within and a decomposing body makes every hour a fight against rot and decay. Kill, butcher, attach and prevail. How they look: A humanoid shape, made of meat and guts.
Where they live: Null
Conflicts: Null
What is their goal: To replace the meat it's made of, to prevent rotting.
Passive: High strength, don't need to drink (or eat, just replace its meat)
Stat bonuses: Strength, Constitution
Starting items: Null
Starting recipes: Null
Some special features: low dexterity, need to butcher creatures and replace the meat it's made of to prevent rotting but don't need to eat or drink.

Pretty nasty beast, can't wait to run around roaring "Fresh meat!" at mortals.

Our next major goal is to move toward v0.7 which will include victory conditions and endgame content. We plan to deliver it in December with a date of Steam release and graphics version as well, so very exciting times ahead - stay tuned!
